Brief & design process:
Pegasys does not exist to motivate people for a moment. It exists to change how they operate for life.
The brand is built to replace inconsistency with structure, average habits with intention, and emotional decision making with commitment. It helps individuals become the kind of people who follow through, regardless of mood, comfort, or circumstance.
Pegasys didn’t want to be like any other fitness brands that sells cheap programs, endless content, and quick bursts of motivation that disappear as fast as they arrive. They want their brand to be a lifestyle brand that goes beyond the 4 walls of the gym. Just like the mythical creature the Pegasus who moves between the earth and the sky they want individuals to feel they can rise above average, operate on a higher level and transition from ordinary to elevated.
This project was about building a brand that doesn’t just sell fitness, but stands for something deeper. I used my 3 phase framework: The Brand Elevation Method to achieve this.
Discovery - Finding the truth behind the brand
The first step was to look beyond the product.
Pegasys Fitness is not just about training programs or physical results. At its core, it is about discipline, structure, and raising personal standards.
The fitness industry is full of noise. There is too much information, too many quick fixes, and not enough consistency. Most people don’t fail because they don’t know what to do, they fail because they don’t have a system or a strong sense of identity.
This became the foundation of the brand.
Pegasus Fitness exists to replace:

From this, a clear idea emerged:
Pegasus Fitness is a performance identity for individuals who refuse to stay average.
Strategy - Turning insight into direction
With a clear foundation, the next step was to shape how the brand would be positioned and communicated.
Instead of acting like a typical fitness service, Pegasus Fitness was positioned as something more powerful, an identity people step into.
The brand does not speak to everyone. It speaks to individuals who want more from themselves. People who are tired of starting and stopping, and who are ready to operate at a higher level.
The messaging was built around:

This created a clear and focused narrative:
Most people stay where they are because they rely on how they feel. Pegasus Fitness exists for those who choose structure, consistency, and higher standards instead.

Design execution - Turning strategy into signal
Once the strategy was clear, the design could follow with purpose.
The visual identity was built to reflect control, discipline, and elevation, core principles at the heart of the brand. Rather than relying on loud or trend driven aesthetics, the approach focused on restraint and precision.
This was expressed through:

Minimal design

Strong, structured typography

A dark, controlled colour palette with a single accent colour

Clean, intentional layouts
The Pegasus symbol was developed with equal consideration. The mark was simplified into a stylised form with sharp, defined edges to convey strength and discipline.
To increase versatility and brand recognition, the hind leg of the Pegasus was subtly shaped to form the letter “P”. This allowed the icon to function both as a symbolic mark and a distinctive brand asset across different applications.
Outcome - A brand that commands, not competes
By focusing on story, meaning, and identity, Pegasys Fitness moves away from being a commodity.
It no longer competes on price or features.
Instead, it stands as a brand that represents a mindset, one built on discipline, structure, and self-respect. This is what allows it to feel premium.
Strong brands are not built on what they sell, they are built on what they stand for and who they help people become.
