Brief & design process:
Resoloot approached me with a brief to design a logo that would capture their vision of inspiring personal development and growth. At the heart of their brand is the idea of giving people valuable insights and practical tips to help them improve and move forward in their lives. The logo needed to reflect this sense of progress and empowerment in a way that would feel both approachable and professional.
A key part of the brief was to create an icon that could stand the test of time centring around the letter ‘R’. It had to feel modern, yet timeless, with a bold quality that makes it instantly recognisable. This balance was important to ensure the logo would remain relevant and adaptable as the brand grows. Overall, the aim was to develop a symbol that communicates growth, resilience, and forward momentum, perfectly aligning with Resoloot’s mission to empower people on their journey of growth.

Resoloot
Two key words from the brief, growth and forward momentum, became the foundation for Resoloot’s logo design. From the start, I wanted the symbol to feel modern, simple, and powerful, while also carrying a deeper meaning that connected back to the brand’s mission. When I thought about growth and moving forward, the mathematical ‘greater than’ symbol (>) immediately came to mind, as it visually suggests progress, improvement, and advancement.
The challenge was to integrate this symbol into the identity in a way that felt natural and memorable. By fusing the greater-than shape with the letter ‘R,’ the initial of Resoloot, I was able to create a mark that felt both distinctive and purposeful. The final design is bold and timeless, with a clean form that can adapt across different uses. More importantly, the symbol represents resilience, growth, and forward movement, values that are at the heart of Resoloot’s vision.
